Jane and Darran Stockley run this cosy and conveniently located farmhouse bed and breakfast two miles from the little market town of Holsworthy in North Devon, close to the border with Cornwall. We also have two self-catering holiday cottages available for weekly let and out of season short breaks. We manage a family-run small holding on the property's land which stretches to five acres. A warm and friendly atmosphere awaits all who come to stay with us.
Set within its own extensive grounds, visitors can enjoy the flower garden or a game of croquet on the lawn, take a stroll through the woods, play Pooh-sticks from the bridge over our babbling brook, or simply sit and relax on the patio.
We farm the land as a self sufficient small-holding, growing fruit and vegetables and rearing chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys, pigs and sheep. The animal population is boosted by our friendly pets - ponies, cats, rabbits and Frankie & Howie the sheepdogs who will always make you feel very welcome!! The produce from the smallholding and other local wares will be sampled by our guests at breakfast, along with a range of home-made jams. Please give us a call, leave a message or send an email by completing the enquiry form on the Contact Us page.
